Cup Sole

Collection

Historic ZEHA sports shoe designs
crafted from premium vegetable-tanned leather
with a newly developed, stitched cup sole

From the Sports Hall to the Street

The Cup Sole Collection revisits historic ZEHA indoor, training and sports shoe designs and develops their constructions for everyday wear today.

Premium vegetable-tanned calfskin meets a flexible Strobel construction and a specially developed cup sole made from vulcanised rubber.

The result is a collection of substantial leather shoes with a surprisingly soft, flexible and agile feel.

Turner

The “Turner” is based on ZEHA training and indoor sports shoes from the late 1960s and early 1970s. As a low-top, it is the most pared-back and agile model in the Cup Sole Collection.

Compared with the “Trainer”, its construction is lower and lighter. Stable reinforcements provide support, while the flexible Strobel construction and stitched cup sole create an exceptionally soft and flexible feel.

Trainer

The “Trainer” is based on ZEHA indoor and volleyball shoes from the 1970s. Its high-top construction combines the agility of a sports shoe with additional support around the ankle.

A padded collar and stable reinforcements provide support and guidance. At the same time, the flexible Strobel construction and stitched cup sole give the shoe a soft, cushioned and agile feel.

Basketballer

The “Basketballer” is based on classic ZEHA indoor, handball and volleyball shoes and is the most distinctive high-top model in the Cup Sole Collection.

The ankle-high upper wraps more closely around the foot than the lower-cut models, providing additional support and guidance. At the same time, the flexible Strobel construction and softly rolling cup sole keep the shoe agile and comfortable.

Rekord

The “Rekord” traces its origins to ZEHA throwing shoes from the 1960s. Its distinctive leather stripes follow the functional reinforcements of the historic sports shoe, providing additional stability and guidance for the foot.

As a low-cut sports shoe, the “Rekord” combines a close, precise fit with the soft and flexible feel of today’s Strobel and cup sole construction.
