Carl Häßner introduced the Handballer in 1962. Unique to this sport shoe are the cap and the heel protections of waffled rubber that gives the Handballer its range of motion. Under the front cap, two wing inserts of coordinating velour leather accentuate the premium, sustainable, vegetable tanned calfskin of the outer layer. This vintage design is handmade in Portugal. Over 200 refining processes are necessary to achieve the quality and the durability of the ZEHA tradition. The inner lining of the shoe is made of supple calfskin with the inner heel made of a velour leather insert. A removable inner sole and shock absorbent EVA foam rubber sole, with outer sole of grooved natural rubber guarantee a safe foot at every turn. Each pair comes with a practical travel bag.
