Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Fotograf Christian Klant haben wir zwei wunderbar inspirierende Shootingtage verbracht und unsere neue Kollektion für euch abgelichtet. Das Besondere: Klant arbeitet mit dem über 150 Jahre alten Nassplattenverfahren und zaubert damit Bilder mit einem ganz eigenen Vintage Flair.
Zusätzlich hat uns der Fotograf Christian Geyer am Set begleitet und mit seiner Kamera den ein oder anderen magischen Moment für die Ewigkeit festgehalten.

Zwei Locations, unendlich viele Geschichten

Als Ort für das große Shooting dienten uns zwei Locations im Prenzlauer Berg – unser Berliner Kiez, das mit seinem typischen Großstadtflair die idealen Voraussetzungen für einzigartige Bilder bietet.
Location Nummer 1, der Marienburger Hof verzauberte uns von Anfang an mit seiner perfekten Kulisse für unser Outdoor Shooting. Den zweiten Tag verbrachten wir in einer alten Turnsalon mit nostalgischer 50er Jahre-Ausstattung – wie gemacht für den Zeha Look und ganz besonders für die Retrosneaker unserer neuen Kollektion!

Ein Fashionshooting der besonderen Art

Nicht nur die Lichtverhältnisse im Marienburger Hof und der Turnsalon waren eine Herausforderung – auch das komplexe Nassplattenverfahren erforderte besondere Konzentration: Unsere Models mussten sehr still stehen, bis die Belichtung abgeschlossen war, nichts am Set durfte sich verändern, wenn das wertvolle Foto perfekt werden sollte.

Trotzdem war die Stimmung am Set ausgelassen und entspannt und wir können auf zwei wunderbare Tage zurückblicken! Die fertigen Bilder erzählen Geschichten: Die Geschichten von Zeha und unserer neuen Kollektion, aber auch die Geschichten einer zeitlosen und gleichzeitig schnelllebigen Stadt – eine kontrastive und mysteriöse Stimmung, die sich in jedem einzelnen Bild widerspiegelt.

In diesem Sinne bedanken wir uns herzlich bei dem Marienburger Hof und der Frank’s Turnsalon für das Bereitstellen der perfekten Locations, bei Fein & Ripp für die tollen Outfits, bei unserem großartigen Team, unseren Models Johanna und Thoralf, Make-up Artistin Nadine,
bei unseren Fotografen Christian Klant und Christian Geyer und nicht zuletzt bei allen Freunden, die uns tatkräftig bei der Umsetzung dieses Shootings unterstützt haben.

A look behind the scenes: Zeha fashion photo shoot

With the artistic direction of wet plate photographer Christian Klant — and the inspiration of two atmospheric Berlin locations — the Zeha team spent two energetic days shooting photos of our newest shoe collection. Photographer Christian Geyer accompanied us on set and captured some candid moments as a way to document the event.

Two locations, endless stories

The photo shoot took place in our local neighborhood, Prenzlauer Berg, which offered plenty of typical urban Berlin ambience. Marienburger Hof provided a charming backdrop for the outdoor shoot on the first day. The second day took place in a gymnasium with a nostalgic 1950s interior — an ideal spot to showcase the Zeha look, especially our retro sneaker collections.

A different kind of fashion photo shoot

Lighting conditions were challenging. Because of the collodion wet plate process, our models had to stand very still and it required extra concentration from everyone. Nevertheless, the mood on the set was exuberant and fun. The wet plate photos feature a distinctive look with strong contrast, creating a mysterious atmosphere that fits the Zeha story well. It was wonderful two days and the final pictures tell a vivid story of Berlin’s urban life, with a focus on the unique and timeless style of Zeha’s collection.
